Tax, Method of Payment, and Documents Needed
To the lodging rate is added 11% Tax (6% State tax and 5% county tourist
tax). Payment for the entire stay must be made prior to or at check in.
We accept Cash, Travelers Checks and certain credit cards: Visa and Master
Card.
Credit card holders must show a drivers license or other form of photo identification
(e.g., passport) at check in when payment for the entire stay is taken.
Additional monies owed to the hotel after check in (e.g., for phone usage),
will be deducted from the credit card at or after check out. If payment
for the stay is by Cash or Travelers Check, a credit card and drivers license/photo
id (e.g., passport) must also be shown at check-in or a refundable deposit
given.

Deposit, Cancellation and Refunds
NO REFUND FOR SHORTENED STAYS (EARLY DEPARTURE).
A deposit is taken at the time of booking for each room booked. If the stay
is for less than 3 nights, the deposit is the rate for 1 night + tax. If
the stay is for more than 3 nights, the deposit is one-third (33%) of the
stay.
During the high season (December 14 - May 5), if cancellation occurs more
than 21 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded except for a
$30 handling fee. If cancellation occurs less than 21 days prior to arrival,
the deposit will be retained and credited to a future stay. You will not
lose your deposit.
In the low season (May 6 - December 13), if cancellation occurs more than
14 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded except for a $30
handling fee. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to arrival,
the deposit will be retained and credited to a future stay. You will not
lose your deposit.
After the deposit is taken prior to arrival, the next payment is at check
in, when the entire stay must be paid for.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed in the courtyard, pool deck, hallways and balconies outside
the rooms. A guest will be asked to check out without return of their room
payment if he/she or any of their invitees smoke in their room.
ENERGY CONSERVATION
Our hotel attempts to conserve energy in the following ways:
- reducing the frequency that bed and bath linens are washed. We ask you to put dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom if you wish them changed, and we change sheets every 3 days, unless more frequent change is requested or necessary.
- requesting that you turn off lights and air conditioners when you are not in the room. This is mandatory.
- requesting that you not cover yourself in a blanket during the night while the air conditioner is running.
- closing doors and windows when the air conditioner is running. This is mandatory.
We ask you to adhere to our energy conservation policies when you stay with us.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave our hotel without return of your room payment if you egregiously violate our energy conservation policies while a guest

Effective June 2004, there are a few new policies (e.g., prohibition
against smoking in all rooms, and a fine for key loss and barbecue clean
up neglect).
